School Year and Hours

The school year for Plymouth Haven Christian Preschool begins in September and ends in May before Memorial Day with classroom hours from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or 1:15 p.m. for the Monkeys Pre Kindergarten.  We generally follow the Fairfax County Public School calendar regarding most student holidays, however, there may be days that Fairfax County Schools are closed but the Preschool is open. These vary year to year and a full year calendar is typically provided at the beginning of each school year. Please see our preschool calendar for upcoming activities and school closings.

Daily Schedule

Our classrooms are broken down by age:

• 2-Year-Olds with two options: M/W/F, Tu/Th
• 3-Year-Olds with three options: M/W/F, Tu/Th, M-F
• Pre-K: M-F (12:15 dismissal)
• Extended Pre-K:  M-F (1:15 dismissal)

Each day will provide an opportunity for learning, growing and socializing. In addition to classroom instruction, each week your child will receive chapel and music. Your child’s day will look something like this:

• Bear Cubs (2’s) Daily Schedule
• Frogs (3’s) Daily Schedule
• Busy Bees (Pre-K) Daily Schedule
• Owls (Pre-K) Daily Schedule
• Monkeys (Junior-K) Daily Schedule

The Science Seed
